Summary

This extension reads your own Engager.app notification data and sends it to your own personal Slack webhook. It does not collect, store, or share your data with anyone — including us.

1. What this extension does

Engager → Slack Notifier is a Chrome browser extension that monitors your @mentions and notifications on Engager.app and delivers instant alerts to a Slack channel of your choosing via a personal Slack Incoming Webhook URL that you provide.

2. Data we collect

The extension accesses the following data solely to perform its function:

• Slack Webhook URL — entered by you and stored locally in Chrome's sync storage. Used only to send alerts to your Slack.
• Notification preferences — two on/off toggles (watch mentions, watch notifications) stored locally in Chrome's sync storage.
• Engager notification content — the title, date, and read/unread status of your own @mentions and notifications, read from the Engager.app page while it is open in your browser. This data is forwarded directly to your Slack webhook and is not retained by the extension.

3. How your data is used

Data is used for one purpose only: delivering a Slack alert when your Engager mentions or notifications change. Notification content is read from Engager.app in your browser, then a summary is POSTed to the Slack webhook URL you configured. No data is sent to any server operated by us or any third party other than your own Slack workspace.

4. Data storage

Your Slack webhook URL and preferences are stored using Chrome's built-in sync storage. No data is stored on any server we control. In-memory snapshots of notification content exist only while the browser tab is open and are discarded when the tab closes.
